Getting Started with LinkedIn

Welcome! Connecting your LinkedIn account to Shyft AI is a key step to a smarter, more efficient recruiting workflow. This allows our AI to unify your communication and draft personalized replies for your messages.

Step 1: Install the Chrome Plugin

To securely connect your LinkedIn account, you will need to install our Cookie Connector Chrome plugin.

  1. From your Shyft AI dashboard, click "Connect LinkedIn."

  2. A new window will open with a link to our Chrome plugin.

  3. Click the link and follow the instructions to install the plugin in your Chrome browser.

Step 2: Get Your Cookie Value

Once the plugin is installed, you'll need to retrieve a unique value from your LinkedIn session. This allows our system to connect securely.

  1. Click the new Cookie Connector icon in your browser's toolbar.

  2. A small pop-up window will appear. Click "Copy Cookie Value."

  3. This will automatically copy the necessary value to your clipboard.

Step 3: Connect to Shyft AI

Now you can finalize the connection on your dashboard.

  1. Go back to your Shyft AI dashboard.

  2. Paste the value you just copied into the designated field.

  3. If you have a LinkedIn Recruiter or Sales Navigator seat, you can also copy that value and paste it into the second field to enable premium features.

  4. Click "Log in."

Congratulations! Your LinkedIn is now connected. Shyft AI will begin syncing your messages and will soon start generating drafts and organizing your communications for you.
